See the 2023 Kia Stinger Tribute Edition Up Close before It Dies Off
With matte-gray paint and a brown leather interior, this $1500 final-edition package is a nice spec for the sporty hatchback as it prepares to bow out.
Kia is killing off the Stinger after the 2023 model year, but not without a special edition to give the sporty hatchback a proper sendoff. We first heard about the Stinger Tribute Edition a few months ago, and now we have more information on this trim package thanks to an example we spotted on the show floor at the 2023 New York auto show. The Tribute Edition costs $1500 and includes several nice appearance tweaks, which we've detailed in the photos below. It's available only for the GT2 trim level, which comes with a 368-hp twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 engine.
Kia is offering the Tribute Edition in two different exterior colors: Ascot Green and the matte-gray paint that's seen here, which is exclusive to the special-edition model.
The Stinger first arrived in the U.S. for the 2018 model year and received a refresh for the 2022 model year.
The Tribute Edition also comes with different 19-inch black wheels and black brake calipers with the Brembo logo.
Gloss-black mirror caps are another one of the Tribute Edition's appearance tweaks.
This wasp logo embroidered on the front headrests is meant to tie in with the Stinger name.
These door sill plates are emblazoned with the "Stinger" logo and a special Tribute script.
Terracotta brown leather contrasts nicely with the gray exterior and is a new addition to the Stinger's interior color palette.
There will only be 1000 units of the Tribute Edition produced worldwide, and 440 of those will come to the U.S. 178 of those will have rear-wheel drive and the other 262 units will be equipped with all-wheel drive.
Carbon-fiber interior trim is also an added element of the Tribute Edition package.
The example seen here is an all-wheel-drive Stinger GT2, and it carries a sticker price of $57,065.
